Prince’s Trust Celebrates With SMS

One more from 160 Characters’ recent newsletter that caught my eye:

Mobile Interactive Group (MIG) has been appointed by youth charity The Prince’s Trust to integrate mobile interactivity across a broad range of marketing initiatives and partnerships set for rollout over the next 12 months.

2006 marks the 30th Anniversary of The Trust, which has integrated mobile as part of its ongoing strategy aimed at raising awareness of its key achievements and increasing charitable donations.

I’m pleased to see these sort of statements and actions, especially after my rant last week about that portrait of John Donne and the complete lack of interactive donations on the National Portrait Gallery site.
