They spent billions more advertising new services like video calling, video downloads and ultrafast Internet access.
They hyped it, they built it, they advertised it, but where are the clients?
Interesting discussion piece.
I know what you mean Ewan. I like my Video calls and can only really video call with my best mate but she's never got 2G coverage as it is so 3G is a joke. O2 have not bothered putting 3G coverage where i live (just outside Cardiff) so I dont get to video call. I dont download cos it can really take too long. Vid downloads are short, too expensive. Internet I dont bother with, but then I need a decent handset. (Roll on 2nd June) SO… where are all the peep who video download, accessing internet and Vid calling! Cos I don't know any. Oh yeah… O2 HSDPA coverage is umm… CRAP.
Hey. Maybe we could video call sometime Ewan! I have 600 minutes which barely get used!!!

Bit behind the times, aren't we? Interesting to see what people were saying back then. Videocalling will never, ever take off, but dongles are smokin'. 3G is definitely here, now. But you all knew that.
I did mean internet on the phone! I gotta agree that video calling will never take off. Mobile broadband is top. faster than landline brodaband at times too!
