Don’t worry about it, just TextPayMe

Ahh you know what, I would definitely use this a lot: www.textpayme.com. I’m like the Queen, I rarely carry cash.  I find it so annoying an inefficient — total geek perspective.  So I do everything on card — credit or debit.

TextPayMe is used to send and receive money with your phone via text.  Think Paypal, only a billion times easier.  (Lifting from their site) it works like this:

1. Send a pay command to their shortcode (70820)

2. Get a confirmation call.  Enter your PIN to confirm sending of the cash.

[I imagine the cash amount then comes out of your account and is held now by TextPayMe]

3. The recipient instantly receives notification that they’ve been paid.

[I then reckon the recipient simply logs into TextPayMe and types in their bank details or credit card to get sent the money]

Really smart, really useful.  They’re going to get bought over quickly if they can get a bit of traction, I’m sure of it.

Only available in the USA at the moment… so I haven’t registered to check it out.  I reckon it’s definitely worth a look: http://www.textpayme.com
