Dotphonto launches photo-sharing for mobile operators

"Our new wireless portfolio targets this opportunity by making digital photography, video, and multimedia easy for the wireless user, with compelling applications that will help carriers around the world increase MMS revenue and subscription lengths."

The Dotphoto site (www.dotPhoto.com) is down at the moment, rather inconveniently, so I can’t tell you any more than you can read in the linked press release above.  It sounds as though they’re offering some good community sharing applications to operators.

The release also picked up on the fact that 2/3 of cameraphone users don’t bother sending MMS (and thus presents Dotphoto as a potential solution).
