Vodafone student unlimited text offer = 1,000 /mth

I persuaded my younger brother to enquire as to the Vodafone student unlimited texting for life offer.

He was very excited at the prospect of snaring the service plan as he’s a huge texter.  He sent them an email to enquire just what ‘unlimited’ meant in practice.  They responded saying ‘fair use’ defines unlimited at the 1,000 texts per month mark.

Net result? He can’t be bothered.  It’s still a good deal, sure.  But he’s already got a 1,000 text plan on o2 which is apparently cheaper than what Vodafone were offering.  Ah well.
