45% of US Teens have mobiles

Shirley Marie once put Rachel on cell speaker so they could talk while Shirley Marie took a shower.

Another time, Shirley Marie talked her phone down from "three bars" to nothing, ran over to the charger, plugged in the phone and continued the conversation sitting next to the outlet.

I really don’t see how showering and talking on your speakerphone would work? Surely the noise of the water would screw up the audio quality?  Maybe not.  Perhaps I’m just OLD. 

Anyway, I always really enjoy articles commenting on how people — particularly the youth — are using mobile technology.  Christine Rook at the Lansing State Journal has done a nice job – have a read.
