Patent pending on ordering a taxi? Blimey. Now if only you could put a patent on the word 'minicab' (said in a rather fast pakistani accent repeatedly every few seconds) and you could stop those bloody touts hassling me everytime I wander out of Leicester Square at 2am after a few bevvies.

Failing that, it'd make you some money and as I suggested it hopefully my cut would be enough to hire a bodyguard or two, a driver, and a large beating stick to alleviate this problem.

Hi,
In relation to the above information and the technology to allow people to textataxi, We have world wide patent pending technology for this facility and we are acheiving some excellent feed back and ressponse. The first company in the world to use this was a taxi company called Derry Taxis, from Derry, Northern Ireland and as you can see from the www.textataxi.com site there is global presence. This product was originally developed around the hard of hearing and speech impaired but has now gone from this to help anyone book a licensed mini cab by text. We give the person details of the vehicle that has arrived to collect them before they leave the building, making this the safest and most secure method of getting you to your destination in the taxi industry. There are some companies that make various claims of technology being the first to do this and so on, however in the mobile world, we have have now developed a virtual taxi rank for use anywhere in the world and that is your mobile phone!! Good luck and stay safe, Lawrence Kendall.
