The growing use of phone texting services for young people by school nurses can be a valuable tool in raising health awareness, Royal College of Nursing (UK) advisor on children and young people’s nursing Fiona Smith said today.

Ms Smith said technology was a growing part of everyday life which school nurses could use to help more children access the health services they needed.
