Service tells you when your kid is near a Paedophile

Link: textually.org: Cell phone warns of predators.

CATS Communication is to launch the first cell phone that uses the GPS to alert parents when a child is walking near a sexual predator’s home, reports Post Gazette.

I just had to comment on this one that I read on Textually.  I think the concent of ‘geofences’ is quite interesting.  For example, I’d want notified the moment my child’s cell phone went outside the town limits, or the like.  However, getting a warning every time the child walks past a registered sexual predator’s home… well, I question how valuable a proposition that is.
