Heard about this on the 10 o’clock news last night. A company called MobileParking is attempting to revolutionize the world by allowing you to use that cell phone of yours to find a parking space.
I like this! Shame it’s US based at the moment. My old venture capitalist once remarked that the best business concepts are where you can sell a fire extinguisher to a person who’s car is on fire. 
In the context of parking, I’m quite happy to blow $1.75 or more when I’m hunting around looking for a space and late for a meeting!

MobileParking claims that they can find you a parking space in 30 seconds. Here are the steps.
1. Call (800-PARK-123) from your mobile phone.
2. Provide your final destination.
3. Our Operators direct you to the closest available parking space.
