The most recent upgrade to the intriguing device added GoogleTalk and VoIP functions, but the 770 remains a fringe piece of hardware, stuck somewhere between a smartphone and a UMPC.

I think I will definitely take a look at the device when I next pass a Nokia shop. I really like the Google Talk additions — that could make it particularly useful for me.

Not a bad cost from the Nokia store online either - £245.
