Link: People’s Daily Online — Chinese shuttlers entertain themselves with mobile phones.
Whenever I read stories about people running up stupid sized text bills, it really winds me up: -
Lin Dan, the top-ranked shuttler in the world who also goes by nickname “Super Dan”, had once spent over 10,000 yuan (1,250 US dollars) for a week on sending SMS to his girlfriend and world No. 2 Xie Xingfang.
Somebody PLEASE mention one of the instant mobile messaging services to these people. I think the only international versions I’m aware of are www.tex2me.com and www.crickee.com. I wonder if there’s a Chinese version of either of them?
