Came across this one while I was doing a search. I do not think text messaging should be used to contact prospective candidates (or clients). I think it’s far too familiar.
However I think it’s a critical tool for communicating with clients and candidates where appropriate.
Jim Stroud and Karen Mattonen discuss text messaging as it relates to recruiting. Jim thought it was a novel idea, whereas Karen poo-pooed it and in the end, Jim saw the light.
