Ace mobile industry networker & researcher required

Russell and team are on the hunt for what I reckon could be a wickedly exciting role.

It’s full/part time so do take a look even if you’re quite busy during the day.

If this is you – or if you know someone who might be interested, go ahead and contact Russell directly (his email is below) or mail me and I’ll connect you both.

Although only 8 months old, AdMob is already the world’s largest mobile web advertising network, with 250 million mobile web pages available every month, globally. We have a portfolio of around 200 advertisers, all of whom are finding the channel very effective, with high click through rates (up to 8%) and high conversions. We’re also starting to generate significant revenues for our mobile website publishing partners.

We’re looking for some freelance help (could be full or part time) to help recruit more website publishers to our portfolio, with the focus on the UK. The proposition isn’t hard to put across (“Please can we send you some free money”), technical integration is very easy, ad-serving is fully automated and we don’t require long term commitments. However, the challenge is to find the sites in the absence of any published data. Therefore, the main focus of the job is research and evangelising through desk research and copious networking.

We’re looking for someone already immersed in the mobile web – or at least the world of mobile – with a great personal network. We’ll offer a basic package with generous upside to the right person. You’ll work from home and be based in the UK.

Please send your CV and a brief email saying why you’d be a good choice to russell AT admob DOT com. Or please pass this on to anyone you think might be interested.
