As Springwise reports, UK consumers can now text WLT CARBON to 87050 and they’ll be billed £1.50 — in return for this, the World Land Trust will offset 140 kg of CO2.
This is, apparently, sufficient carbon to offset your one-way flight from London to Berlin.
I’d sooner they just planted a tree, myself — I find that more exciting than
Anyway it’s a useful and easy way for you to offset your Carbon usage. More at carbonbalanced.org.
