The pace of development on the web is always interesting to behold. Geoff of newly established newsrivers.com has taken Dave Winer’s initial news river concept, picked it up and run with it.
He’s repackaged the BBC’s comprehensive sports feeds for each premiership team so that any mobile device — principally Blackberry or PDA owners — can easily access them via their device browser in the Wineresque ‘river’ display format 
So, for example, if you want to read about Chelsea, just point your browser to www.cfcriver.com. The whole directory is at www.newsrivers.com.
