Nokia N93: I am now officially out of date

L136135So the N93 is now, well and truly ‘out’. There are between 1 and 5 in stock over at Expansys which has them retailing for £499.95.

They’re available for £160ish if you’re willing to commit to a £35ish a month Vodafone contract.

No on both counts.  I’m still extremely impressed with the N90 — and, to be quite honest, it’s not very ‘old’ yet.   Can I justify blowing 500 quid on the new N93?  It’s definitely a valid expense.  But… You know, I’m really quite happy with the N90.  It’s still doing the trick.  It’s getting a bit dated.  It’s a bit scuffed.  It’s a bit ‘big’.  But it’ll do for a while, yet, I reckon.   Besides, if I got hold of one now, nothing would work on it yet.

I have now flicked that switch in my brain though — from passive to active.  I am actively looking to acquire an N93, I reckon.  Not now.  Not tomorrow.  But… I could quite well instinctively reach for the company card if an enterprising Nokia salesman spied me walking by their shop and ran out, grabbed me and did me a good deal.

I think this is unlikely as the Nokia web store doesn’t even have the N93 on display yet.
