We interrupt this service

I happened on what I thought was a rather wicked way of organising my email.  Now — everything sent to me is passed through my Google Mail account.  A copy remains there as a backup, whilst a copy is also immediately forwarded to my computer and Blackberry.

This has stripped out the 800 or so spams I’ve been getting every day and left my inbox looking rather bare.  Too bare.  I had a quick check in the Google spam filter and, to my horror, found quite a few mails languishing there.  So if I haven’t responded to anything you’ve sent, fear not:  a) I will do so because I have your mail or b) I won’t answer because I haven’t got it.  Don’t hesitate to resend.  I’m now in the process of educating Google Mail’s pretty nifty spam filter.
