‘First’ GSM, VoIP dual-mode Windows Mobile handset launched | The Register .
US-based VoIP handset maker Paragon Wireless has launched what it claims is the world’s first Windows Mobile 5.0 phone designed for Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) VoIP calls that also operates as a regular quad-band GSM/GPRS handset
I like the look of this one. Very handsome. I might even start to feel good about Windows Mobile if this works like it should do…
Ewan, oooh yeah baby, now this looks very slinky indeed and I love the idea of having a mobile that says “HIPI” on the front in alternate red and blue characters, but that still looks sexy!!
No mention of what sized memory card I can whack in to play those mp3’s/wmv’s that it’s capable of. And do you think these guys will have been able to make winmob5.0 run any quicker than nokia can?
After a 2nd day of walking in/running out of plastic toy shops looking at the bland-all-exactly-the-same-dull-unexciting-lets-stiff-you-for-another-model-but-not-quite-give-you-what-we-are-capable-of-building-because-we’d-rather-stiff-you-for-a-tiny-feature-enhancement-in-6-months-time-which-still-wont-satisfy-you-but-hey-that’s-the-tedious-business-we’re-in handsets that Motonokson are flooding the streets with, I think I may well look out for this and champion “the smaller brands”.
so where do I get me hands on one then!?
