All this talk of cameraphones, why are there no pictures of you on SMS Text News?
Well, Mel, I used to have a picture on the blog an eon ago when I was using Typepad to host it. Then I swapped to Wordpress.
Generally speaking, I don’t look good in photos. I think it’s the eyebrows and the Scottish skin which is either comes across exceptionally wickedly good or totally pasty. So when you face those sort of challenges, if you find a half decent photo, you stick with it, right?
Ergo here is a picture of me, having just consumed a cocktail sausage roll at Corney & Barrow (Bar), Paternoster Square in the heart of London. (St Paul’s Cathedral towers over the square.) I am also concentrating on a piece of mail on the laptop. Not auditioning for any cowboy movies at all.
Incidentally I asked Mel to send a picture of herself for display — but, tut tut, she claims not to have a cameraphone….
So right back at you. If you’ve got a (decent) picture of yourself in an easily reachable folder or at a memorable URL, send it to me with a blog link or the like and I’ll publish it.
