Anthony forwarded me this link showing a splash page asking interested parties to sign up their details, including mobile phone number, to receive updates and information by text.

GOPMobile has its own customised US shortcode too — if you’d like to join the service, simply text JOIN to GOP06 (46706).

Good to see the adoption of the technology.
