Just spent 20 minutes taking a call from their Indian call centre. Due to my well documented woes with T-Mobile, the Vario will go back on Saturday (obviously unlike Dell, T-Mobile doesn’t have people watching blogs for unhappy customers….) Anyhow, 800 xntwrk minutes, 500 txts for 17.50 a month is a great deal, and I would have said yes if only they were able to give me a clue about the pricing of x-series and stopped trying to convince me that the N73 is a heap of crap and that the Razr is a better phone, etc. Indeed they know nothing at all about the X-Series. At worst case I could take this as a phone deal and get a Crackberry to do mail. However I’m loath to have two devices and I’ve already discovered a couple of apps that actually work well - Mobizines, ShoZu for example - so think I still will use some data.
