Gizmodo’s bit-of-an-arse re: iPhone

Now this was just a bit of an arse, right.

I and a ton of other people brought up Brian’s post about iPhone thus:

Gizmodo Knows: iPhone Will Be Announced On Monday

I guarantee it. It isn’t what I expected at all. And I’ve already said too much. -Brian Lam

… and got quite excited.

I quickly looked at the category tags and got rather excited. There was an Apple category tag associated with the post! Brian must know something we don’t! Exciting. Genuinely exciting.

Here’s the Google Cache of it on Friday with the APPLE category attached to it.

We get to Monday and find out that whilst the text of the article was 100% accurate, what about the sodding Apple tag?

I popped back to the story to see if anything had been updated. Here’s a screenshot of today’s story, mysteriously without the APPLE category. It’s been removed!

Bit annoying that.

The ‘Apple’ category prompted me to — rightly, I think — assume that Brian had some degree of insider Apple related news, especially since it was tagged with Apple. And now the tag’s been removed…………..

Arse.

Anyway, onwards, upwards… where’s my N93…

That seriously pissed me off so bad. Nice screen grabs, though.

Brain Lam can go to hell.

I won’t be reading Gizmodo anymore.
