group finance directors should be locked away in rooms containing lots of ring binders and pc's running nothing but spreadsheets. they are not marketing people and his quotes will go done in the anals of history, mark my words. these are some of the stupidest things a top man from a mobile company could say. utterly ridiculous. am I the only one that sees the stupidity of these statements, words that will surely come back to haunt 3.

The friend coming to dinner analogy. oh for god sake man. Crap crap crap analogy. this is not the same. I am giving you some of my hard earned money for a service - paying you for it. I want to pay for a decent service. I am not expecting you to invite me round for a years free lunch. what planet are you on? you are in business to sell things, not invite customers round for free lunches. stupid stupid man.

The "I would personally ensure that if you went over your skype limit because you are calling a sick aunt that we would not charge you for abusing the fair use policy". Right, get this man to give up his spreadsheets for 1 week, just 5 days. and sit him in the call centre with nothing but a headset and a stress ball. then let the calls rip. let him have all the difficult ones. the ones where "oh I accidently sat on my phone and it proceeded to make a 3 hour call without me knowing and I can't afford it...literally can't afford it because [insert sob story]". he clearly has no sodding idea what dealing with 3 million customers who have a problem is like.

so "kudos to him going public with a blog". sorry, no. no no no no no.

They still need to go a but further to get over their tarnished image (in my mind)... but wow, I'm now seriously considering using Three instead of T-Mobile when I switch from Orange in a month or so.
