5,065 texts in 4 months

My brother is, I think, on a Vodafone Student ‘unlimited text’ service plan. Lucky for him.

5065 x 12.5p = £633 ;-)

I’m a big fan of unlimited text plans. It’s possible that he’s pushing the fair use policy for text messages a little, I think it’s about 1,000 or 1,200 a month (something like that, I think) — although, Vodafone consistently get bucketloads of money from him for other services — most notably data (quids per meg) and phone calls (35p a minute). So I think both are benefiting. Well, he’s not benefiting from the huge bill…….. but you get my point.

I really, really liked the Orange £35 a month, unlimited text plan. They were doing tons of advertising of it toward the end of last year. Racoon. Or Spider. Or Monkey. I can’t remember.

How many texts did you send last month?

I get 1000 free with o2 payg and tend to use all of them at least. Big data user and pay for a 5mb bolt on and still use on average £2 a day after That’s used. o2 really need to sort out unlimited data and give payg customers full mobile data services

We yanked our daughter’s SMS account after she had (per month) 2900, 3400, 3800 and the capper: 5300 text messages in ONE MONTH. granted, that’s inbound and outbound. She had a 2500 message/month deal, but obviously blew right past that!
