Hi Guys,

Well Futurephone is no more at least till this court case is over. This could take a long time. The longer the better for AT&T.

Reading through the court case between AT&t and defendants this certainly is an interesting case.

It begs other new VoIP companies to watch their step. It is one thing to be competitive but any using the methods in question could have a short future. They will certainly be watched and could easily be included in this case.

It may be tempting to offer access numbers for free or cheap international calling, but it could be short lived if they are using these methods.

If you want to �play safe� and use a company offering good featured services at very low cost try Global1touch.

Same idea as actiontelecom.co.uk. Free international calls from O2 mobiles are very possible due to the fact it costs nothing to call certain access numbers for the customer since they’re counted from the free minutes bundle. But the telecom operator still get paid by the mobile operator.

Nothing new about this concept . Same idea as http://www.futurephone.com and
http://www.freecallstochina.com who offer more destinations.

Useful if your UK Call Package includes Free Calls to USA . Eg Sky Talk as it extends the number of destinations you can reach.

But isn’t this nothing else like Futurephone and a toll number and provided within the US only. How can these companies make money? How can they survive without business model? There is no such thing as free lunch … I’m sure the catch/scam will pop up soon!
