Three penalty points if you’re spotted on your mobile whilst driving

I rarely see people driving whilst on their mobile. It seems to be only the odd total arse in a 3 series BMW kitted out to look like it’s top of the range.

Oh, and Jeep Cherokee drivers. I see a few of them with their phones on their ears whilst trying to turn the wheel.

It used to be cool didn’t it? You know, a bit flash, a bit ‘look at me, I’m busy so I’m on the phone but yet I’m driving, because, I’m cool.’

Now, it’s a bit cheap. Every phone comes with a hands free kit in the box nowadays. Use that and make sure your handset is fixed somewhere in the car. Or, better still, if you’re that important that you expect to take calls in the car ;-) get yourself a poncy in-car handsfree phone system so you can yell into the rear view mirror microphone like a true salesman.
