I just did a visit to the Vodafone UK homepage to see what’s cooking.
I think I am losing it.
I sat there for about 10 seconds looking at this ad, and in particular, this text:
With 6 months HPLR
HPLR? I’m sat thinking, ‘what, in all that is techy, is HPLR???’
I’m thinking, HPLR? Is that some sort of proprietary double-speed data protocol that I haven’t heard of?
No.
I worked it out.
Half Price Line Rental. Ahhhhhh.
Do consumers know HPLR then? Is this, like the Nokia Menu button thing, well known and just something I’m missing?
WK.
(Who Knows).
