Half Geek Update: They’re loving the LG Shine

Remember I wrote about some rather weird looking mobile geeks sat a little way from me on the carriage?

Well I happened upon an idea.

I had the LG Shine in my bag. So I took it out, switched it on and put it on the table here. The non-bearded one got up to go to the toilet a little while ago and I saw his eyes light up when he passed by.

He couldn’t contain his excitement — after visiting the toilet, he rushed back (quick second glance on the way by) and thus:

- “Look, look that man’s got a shiny looking phone”
- “What one is it [pokes head up and looks, I smile]
- “Oh it’s a Samsung”
- “No, I think it’s an LG”
- “No, definitely a Samsung”
- “I don’t know, look it’s all mirrored”

Heh.

Yes, I am a mobile ponce.

And yes, the LG Shine certainly does turn heads and will do for a long time I’m sure.
