Something tells me that Txt 8555 isn’t that popular with the New Zealand Consumers’ Institute…
The Lazarus Award, for a product that refuses to die, went to Txt 8555 competitions. Russell said the “rampant vagabond” text-message competition charged entrants $3 for every message sent to them by the company and then awarded them a prize lower than the value of what they had spent on their phone bill.
Just do a Google for Txt 8555 and you’ll see all the complaints.
Thanks for sending this Dafyd!
With the market saying 'no' to Nokia's Ovi Store, what do you think can be done to change this?
