HeidelbergCement Bangladesh Limited, a member of Heideldelberg Cement Group, Germany, stepped into a new arena by introducing web & SMS-enabled services for their customers. It is the first of its kind in the cement industry in the country.

Managing Director of the company JeanClaude Jamar inaugurated the system through a press conference on ‘Web and SMS Enabled Service’ at a city hotel Thursday.

Jamar said commitment to innovation is one of the missions of Heidelberg Cement Group, as the Group believes future success depends on new technologies and introduction of WEB and SMS-enabled services is another example of successful endeavour.

“Through this e-commerce and m-commerce services, our valued customers can order for ScanCement/RubyCement 24 hours through Internet and mobile phone (SMS).
