Adding WiFi service to you T-Mobile phone account

Remember last week I added the hotspot service (8.50 a month for unlimited usage of any T-Mobile hotspot) using the self-service facility on T-Mobile’s website?

I like to be able to serve myself — it’s rather satisfying.
I’ve just added the hotspot service for £8.50 — so instead of using The Cloud, I can now use T-Mobile. Although … I think I might reactivate my Cloud subscription.

Well, I was a little curious to see how the self-service system would process my subscription. I need a username and a password to access the hotspots you see. I knew the username would be myphonenumber@t-mobile.co.uk .. but, how would I get the password? By mail?

No! By text. Sweet. Very cool indeed.

Lucky you.. if you have a business T-Mob account you have to phone them up to do anything remotely simple. I’m still wrestling to get my PSMS access sorted. Oh, and Myspace is locked as an ’18+ only’ service if you try and connect using T-Mob Web’n'Walk through a laptop, as is MSN Web Messenger. Fantastic..
