I'd been on £15/month for slightly over 12 months and I don't think I ever went over my allowance except on data... Maybe they figured they'd be making more from me since I'd have to upgrade my basic tariff too. I thought that having been with them for 16 years and paying £55 a month, they might like to keep to keep me! I will port as soon as T-Mobile have 3G in Newbury. Shame that Vodafone don't offer a spechial deal for folks that live in their home town. Tried the “I am going to T-Mobile”, when asked why, I said about the data cost and mentioned the £10 deal – got a take it (my existing 200mb for £25) or leave it.

I thought that having been with them for 16 years and paying £55 a month, they might like to keep to keep me!
