Mobile Phones intended to be used as detonators in recent London bomb attempt

Just caught this on Channel4′s wickedly good daily Snowmail newsletter:

Off the record it is believed: at least two of the men are medical doctors. Bilal Abdulla, an Iraqi, was arrested in Scotland; the other, Mohammed Asha, was arrested on the M6 in Cheshire and is believed to be Jordanian. Police had actually linked the London attempts to Glasgow just before the airport attack. The mobile phones found in the cars in London appear to have been very important in the evidence trail. They were intended to be the detonators in the London attacks. Police are searching a housing block at the hospital in Paisley where one of the suspects is being treated.
