Greystripe Hits 14 Million Downloads Of Free Mobile Games

Another one from TechCrunch — this one was on my list to blog yesterday. If you’re into mobile gaming in any way, a look over at Greystripe’s gamejump.com is necessary, as TechCrunch report 14 million+ downloads.

That’s pretty neat because, although you can join Gamejump from any country, you can only choose one of 6 cellular providers — (Bell, T-Mobile, SprintPCS…) — limiting the audience to the US only. 14 million downloads is a pretty good statistic, I think, for that marketplace.

Greystripe Hits 14 Million Downloads Of Free Mobile Games

GreyStripe has passed the 14 million downloads mark on its free mobile gaming content site Gamejump.com in just over 12 months.

Gamejump.com’s model provides downloadable mobile gaming content ad supported and free in a market where paid downloads are the norm. Ads are displayed before and after each game.
