Nokia’s iPhone YEARS too late. YEARS.

Link: Nokia’s iPhone — no, seriously – Engadget

Oh come on, what the hell is that? A Nokia branded iPhone? It was presented during Nokia’s GoPlay event this morning as a glimpse into the future of Nokia interface design. Oh, and it’s due out next year.

Laughably late, Nokia.

Far too late.

Hummm, I don’t know… If it comes out with 3g from the get go it would be ahead of the IPhone. It also would most likely be free for a lot of users which the IPhone will most certainly not be.

Maybe thats what the music store will be all about, to fit with this type of phone….?

not only late but laughably similar, thought Nokia were all about innovation. Embarassing.

I don’t know if I would call it too late. There were concept vids on YT of the future direction for Nokia products and this was one of them. The differentiation came in how the software fit into a tech-lifestyle and was probably Symbian-based. It would be good if Nokia is trying to make a play in the high-end touchscreen arena, and hopefully come up with something pretty sweet. They do have the Internet Tablet line, but those are not at all consumer oriented enough to do much with at this point.
