Quad band GSM watch phone launches soon

A lot of my friends now don’t wear watches, and rely on their mobile to tell the time. However, if SMS Technology get their way with their new M500 quad-band watch phone, the trend may be reversed.

The unit has just finished an extensive antenna testing and will hit production with an available metal strap, longer (by 2-inches) stylus, upgraded battery, and POP3 email and SMS text message support, and of course will still rock that quad-band GSM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 and TFT touchscreen.

The SMS Technology M500 is slated to start shipping from Hong Kong on August 31 and will have a monthly production run of 250,000 units.

    Although does anyone else find it amusing that a company called SMS Technology makes a product that, at first glance, provides a hideous “texting” experience.
