<description>Will Westminster City Council take it upon themselves next to warn me when I pass a McDonalds that (allegedly) burgers and fries are bad for my health.

Or perhaps when I pass by a beggar in the street it will warn me not to encourage him by giving him some money (yes indeed, Wesminster have a bit of a reputation for moving beggars along).

Or recognise that I have been stood for more than 2 minutes on Westminster Square and so warn me that it is illegal to have a gathering there.

I applaud the council for using modern technology - they are definitely one of the more advanced councils around. But I wonder where use of bluetooth technology might end - and once GPS in mobiles is common-place I am quite scared of how it might all end up getting used.....&quot;Mr MacLeod, we notice from tracking you every 5 mins throughout today that you took a very interesting route through W1 (Soho) - please explain to Big Brother the meaning of this deviation?&quot;..... ;-)
