I’m sure a depressing number of people will be checking emails – the real question is will they be doing it surreptiously or with the blessing of your wife / husband / partner / family etc? I’ve been known to hide in my children’s plastic garden house with my blackberry and a can of stella to catch up on emails.

Is that odd?

My mobile is connected to an Exchange server, however the work is a side job. My main job will not see anything lest they get me over AIM Mobile (SMS).

Interesting thought. I’m fortunate enough to be in one of those strange companies that doesn’t have external access to email (and I’m not going to do anything to resolve that between now and Christmas!). So, only personal emails for me. Guess that means my answer is “No way, I’ll be relaxing”.
