Woosh Wireless, which needs to migrate its technology platform to WiMax also picked up spectrum suitable for these types of services, as did state-owned broadcasting and broadband player Kordia, which likewise has aspirations in the WiMax camp.

I have never, ever heard of Woosh Wireless before. I just had to post on this. That’s the best mobile operator brand name, EVER. I love it!

Yes Woosh is a great name , good support and website is nice. However the service is patchy at best and slow as good dialup at the best of times. Forget about streaming video with youtube.

This is in the center of Christchurch in the so called 'Hotspot' , great signal so the meter in the software says however in the real world it appears to work even worse than a FREE wifi signal in an airport.

Its a great idea but needs to be upgraded.
