Link: MedTrackAlert Teams with 4INFO to Broadcast Consumer Health Information to Mobile Phones

MedTrackAlert, an award-winning consumer health information news agency, today announces a collaboration with 4INFO, the leading text messaging service in the United States. The partnership adds two million mobile phone users to the reach of MedTrackAlert’s health information content and expands the breadth of 4INFO’s news coverage.

Amplifying its position as an information source and content provider, MedTrackAlert will syndicate its health-related content to mobile phones through 4INFO’s service. Consumers may subscribe to the opt-in service at www.medtrackalert.com/4info-text-message-alerts.

4INFO will broadcast headlines of MedTrackAlert’s articles, and subscribers may reply to that test message to access more information. Additionally, subscribers may send queries to request MedTrackAlert headlines directly from their mobile phone by texting health keywords, such as ‘HIGHCOL” for information on high cholesterol, to 4INFO (44636). 4INFO’s messaging service operates on any text-enabled phone.

  1. Thanks for the mention! MedTrackAlert has even more mobile alert services coming soon. It may not sound like the sexiest service ever, but if you’ve got a health condition and want to stay on top of it, this is a great way to do it.

  2. Lipitor (atorvastatin) for High Cholesterol, Familial Heterozygous: I have been using this medicine for about 6 years. As a result my cholesterol level test comes out normal.
