Link: Next iPhone software update to allow copy-paste | MacScoop
The reports we obtained claim that the software update will add copy-paste, which is one of the most requested features by iPhone users, and will provide a few other user interface improvements.
Cut and paste was a key function that never made it to the original list of iPhone functions. I am pleased to hear that this, along with a few other features are apparently due for release soon.
The one brilliant thing Apple can rely on is the ability to simply make OS updates as required. If Nokia release a handset with errors or omissions, it’s only the hardest-of-the-hardcore that can be arsed to actually update their devices… you generally need to wait to buy the next version of the handset to get access to more functions. I look forward to more and more updates from Apple.
