When was the last time you were sent something funny by text?
Me? Well, my colleague (identified by the letter M) routinely sends me absolutely shocking yet hilarious text messages that I daren’t send to anyone else. Someone, I don’t know who yet, has setup TextCapades.com to document funny texts. So if you’ve got any hanging around your inbox, whack’em over for anonymous publishing!

Welcome to TextCapades.com. Leave me a comment and let me know how you heard about the site. Please feel free to leave your URL in your comment as well, I don’t mind the crosslinks.
Now, onto the fun.
I know you’ve sent a text or two, (hundred, (and by hundred I mean thousand)), and in those millions of texts, you’ve sent or received a series of texts that made you laugh out loud, even the next day. Here’s how we get to laugh, thanks to you: Email me at textcapades (at) gmail.com with your favorite texts of all time (or from last night) and I’ll post them here as a post for you. We won’t use names or any identifying information, just post the funny.
So get to it – email them to textcapades (at) gmail.com, and welcome to the fun.
Ewan, I’m pleased to announce that Esendex have teamed up with Neal (the man behind it all) so you can now send your humorous messages to textcapades.com directly from your phone using our new BlogIt service.
The number for TextCapades is : +44 (0)7786 202 901
When a message is received, our service immediately submits it as draft blog post for the TextCapades team to edit and publish.
TextCapades is actually using our premium service (BlogIt Plus) for blog owners who want to receive messages from anyone. We also have a personal service called BlogIt that is completely free to signup for and use.
If you want to be able to post something to your blog whenever and whereever, just sign up here: http://www.esendex.com/en/UK/Services/Blog-It/ and then you can send your posts to +44 (0) 7786 204 255 to have them auto-magically appear immediately on your blog.
Just to be clear on the term free. Esendex won’t charge you but you willl have to pay for the messages you send. However both numbers are standard, mainland UK mobile numbers (ie not shortcodes, Channel Islands or Isle of Man numbers), so any messages will come out of your bundle which should make a refreshing change.
