We rested the SMS Text News Flower Fairy during most of December.
If you recall, every Monday, I like to send flowers to someone in (or connected with) the mobile industry. I think it’s a nice thing to do — I like highlighting the recipients and pointing out good work.
There’s no nomination process per se. It’s entirely driven by reader suggestions — so I do need your help: If time permits, could you knock me over an email (ewan@smstextnews.com) with your recommendation for who you think is doing something good in mobile? I need their name, position, company name, a bit about why you’re recommending them (e.g. “They did X or Y and it was very well received” or something like that, so that it makes sense to the rest of us).
Plus, I do need their office address — so I can actually send them flowers.
We used to try sending beer but it can get a bit complicated when we’re sending internationally. We still haven’t located a florist in Afghanistan yet either…
