Why? Well, I was in a restaurant this evening here in Tahoe when I saw this chap using his (old) Treo as a torch to read the menu. Fascinating. He spent a good few minutes using the device to shed some illumination.
I’m used to seeing the young and the youthful being resourceful — but it was a little of a surprise to see this chap doing so.
Me? Well my father and I once installed my cooker by the lights of a Vodafone V800 handset and a Nokia Communicator. It might have been a bit more efficient to have driven to a shop and buy a torch… as the installation took hours by screen-light… but, you know… we did get the cooker working!
