What most people don't know is that the life of the battery in a Bluetooth headset is rather short, on the average it is 300 charges. Because the battery is most often internal and not swappable, the battery life is the of the headset. If only moderate - heavy cellular phone user-consumers knew that you would need to buy a new headset every year, would they opt to buy a car kit?

I actually am known to wear my bluetooth headset - even when not actively on a call - simply because it's convenient. The whole purpose of those things is to NOT have something to fiddle with when a call comes in. If I'm already wearing it, it's a simple button press to answer the phone.

If you're NOT supposed to wear it continuously, then what's the difference in pulling your phone out or pulling your headset out when a call comes in?
