I find the IM bots the easiest way to keep up with Jaiku and Twitter.

Seeing other people’s comments is, IMHO, one of the best features of Jaiku and encourages lots of interaction with people on the very edge of your social cloud.

Think of it like being in a room full of people, some of whom you already know, but in this environment it’s not considered rude to just stroll up and join a conversation.

This is very timely – started to use Jaiku this week. Am a bit overwhelmed by the volume of activity though – how’s best to get notified of postings thats not too intrusive?

Also, is anyone else annoyed by seeing comments in their stream (from contacts you’re tracking) that relate to original posts from someone you’re not tracking? Out of context they often don’t mean much… and unless I’m doing it wrong (likely) it’s too many clicks to see if I’m interested.

The jury is out for me…
