Hi Ricky, and Njar,

Thanks for that. Well, at least I know to not be too hopeful about the future of Blyk and Sniffu, it’s a shame because it’s something I would love to be able to get to use.

My interest isn’t wavering, I’m interested to see how Blyk responds to being commentated on like this; as you’ve said in your posts you think you may of had some additional attention because of this, and it’s interesting.

Excellent posts. We here in the States really enjoy your reports as this is an excellent way to follow Blyk. We took special note of your desire for freebies. On one note, can you explain what a pay point terminal is?

SNIFF will be live on Vodafone and T-Mobile shortly. Three and Virgin don’t offer LBS so it’ll not be live for them any time soon. On Blyk, most usual short codes will eventually work, but I doubt they’ll offer LBS.

hey cheers for the comments on the piece, I though interest was wavering, obviously not!
I agree I thing they should listen more!
In regards to sniffu, Blyk replies that same message for all short code services which are not supporpted by BLYK.
A bit rubbish really!

I wish they listened more to be honest!

I never recieved the message about the winner of the Film Competition, and I never got anything back about the Social Networking sites; however I did do a short list (Myspace, Bebo, Facebook, Twitter), but nothing back in return.

I liked the Lucozade thing too, it was a nice touch, let’s hope they continue with it!

Also, something you may be interested in… I just tried to sign up to a website https://www.sniffu.com/uk/sniffu/index.html – well I wasn’t expecting it to work (you have to text to sign up, and only Orange and o2 are currently supported, but I gave it a try) – I got a message back from Blyk –
“Sorry, the service (60506) is not yet connected to Blyk.We are working on to get the service connected. Stay tuned!”
I don’t know if that’s a standard thing or not, but maybe it’s something they are hopefully planning to expand too.

Anyways, can’t wait for the next one of these!
