Coffee Republic’s free Wifi service in every shop

Add Coffee Republic to your radar now when you’re out and about. Screw Starbucks. Coffee Republic, you see, are offering free WiFi in every one of their coffee shops (or ‘coffee bars’ as they call them). Some bars have site limitations that prevent them from offering WiFi, but, generally speaking, every Coffee Republic you walk past is offering free WiFi now.

Were Star*ucks charging for their WiFi?

I thought it was free (for iPhone users anyway?)

Note it's not *free*, you need to purchase. Calling it 'Free' is like saying you get 'Free' petrol at BP with a £59.95 coffee ;-)

Ah. Yes, T-Mobile's a ripoff for sure. But aren't they part of the Cloud? Maybe you can get it free under the combined plans? I loose track, i really do....

...but I guess I'll never know. Life's too short for bad coffee, and friends don't let friends drink star*ucks.

Excellent. Folks go out of their way in the states to find the free WiFi spots. Why some establishments still have locked down service in their stores is beyond me...
