		<description>If all your providers offer paperless billing, with Direct Debit payments, how hard is that? Especially with many services moving to flat-rate predictable amounts - gas, water, &#039;leccy, mobile, broadband, etc etc....&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ergo, do customers REALLY want just one bill? Which by extension ties them to one service provider for everything? Or are they quite happy to have multiple bills as a tradeoff for being able to select the best provider for each class of service?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Methinks the latter. Unless it&#039;s a conglomeration of John Lewis Partnership outfits - everything they do is fab ;-)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;For me, convergence of billing is up there with convergence of devices - it&#039;s an industry-led thing that only really benefits those selling or running billing systems.
